I would like to shine the spotlight on this exceptional group

There is a group of students who work tirelessly behind the scenes and I would like to shine the spotlight on this exceptional group and pay tribute to their significant contributions to our school and its events. 

The Kapa Haka group members are not only outstanding performers, they are also reliable pillars of support for the entire school community. Whenever their presence is requested, they step up without hesitation. Whether it's a school assembly, a sports event, a cultural festival, or any occasion that calls for their participation, these students are always there, ready to contribute their talents to the success of the event.  

They stand tall with their unfaltering commitment and desire to be a part of something bigger than themselves and approach each event with a level of professionalism that is admired by all. 

While their endeavours have not gone unnoticed by some, the true extent of their work remains largely unknown to our school.  

It is important to acknowledge and express our deepest gratitude to Matua Jeff Ruha, the Head tutor and Matua Paratene of our Kapa Haka group. Their support, guidance, and dedication to nurturing the talents of these remarkable students has been instrumental in their success. Their relentless efforts behind the scenes ensure that the Kapa Haka group continues to thrive and make a positive impact on our school community. 

On behalf of the sports department, I extend my thanks to these amazing students and their leaders. It is through their efforts that our school events have been imbued with unity, culture, and pride.
