Te Aratohu Mahi Workshop - Job Skills and Hub - Construction & Infrastructure

Kia ora and Talofa lava 

On Wednesday 16th August, Te Ariki Moate 13GU Callum Davies 13PL, Malachi Turoa-Anisi-Ulu 11RL, Tevita Telefoni , Daniel Paleseuma 11PW, Hezekiah Letele, Erasmus Jnr Saufoi-Anania 11WO and myself attended a workshop looking into construction and infrastructure as a career path.

The program has brought up many different possibilities which opened our eyes and helped us see there's more out there than University. We were exposed to what it's like in the workforce, what you can earn, and how you can get yourself involved straight away. From using VR to filling out forms. It honestly brings hope knowing that I can still have a future where I can thrive by doing something I love without having to do more school and just get in the workforce straight away.  

I would like to thank Mr Talamaivao for organising this day for us as it was eye opening and enjoyable. The feed was good too!
