Making a Splash at Western Zone Swimming

Rutherford College made a splash at the Western Zone Swimming Championships on Thursday, April 28th, with 12 students representing our school at West Wave.

Despite facing tough competition, our swimmers stood out with their impressive swimming. Dylan Chapman stood out, clinching 5th place in the intermediate boys 50m Backstroke with an impressive time of 34.43 seconds. In total, our team secured 11 top 10 placings across four events, a testament to their skill and dedication.

We owe a big thank you to Miss Simpson for her organisation and support on the day.

Congratulations to all our students for their outstanding performances and sportsmanship. Your achievements are a source of pride for Rutherford College. We look forward to more success in future competitions.
