On Tuesday, November 12th, Rutherford College students participated in the Auckland Cup Secondary School Junior Pairs, held at Mt Eden Bowling Club. The event provided students with an exciting opportunity to "have a go" at lawn bowls, some for the first time, while others returned with growing enthusiasm for the sport.

It was fantastic to see our students embracing the challenge of a new sport and having fun with the experience. The mix of new and familiar faces on the lawn brought energy to the event and demonstrated the growing interest in bowls among the Rutherford College community.

Special thanks to Drew Dunn for accompanying the group and making the day possible. We hope everyone enjoyed the event and look forward to seeing even more students at upcoming lawn bowls competitions!
