Students leading the Asian Games

Students leading the Asian Games

Our house leader students had the privilege of attending a workshop organized by Sport Waitakere Asian active, where they delved into the diverse world of Asian games. This workshop not only allowed our students to learn about various traditional games but also gave them the opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills. On Monday, July 31, these students had the honour of sharing their knowledge and skills with local primary school students at the "Finding your Dragan" event held at Te Atatu Community Centre.

During this event, our students took on teaching roles, demonstrating their learning and leadership abilities by facilitating the Asian games they had mastered. This event fostered a cultural exchange between our students and the local primary school students, promoting mutual understanding and appreciation for different traditions. It was great to witness the positive impact our students made with our local Tamariki.

We would like to thank our students who consistently step up to volunteer and support our local community and schools. You are truly valued.
