Impressive medals won by Brothers at the New Zealand Karate Nationals

New Zealand Karate Nationals in Wellington

Cameron and Blair Deo recently took part in the GKR New Zealand Karate Nationals in Wellington. In the Kata category, Cameron won the silver medal and in kumite he won the bronze medal.

Blair who was the only junior black belt had to compete in the senior open black belt division against two-time world champions from Australia. Despite the tough competition, Blair contributed to the team's success by bringing home the bronze medal in team kata and secured the fourth position in team kumite.

These accomplishments have not only brought them recognition and pride but they have also earned them a spot to compete in the World Cup championship in 2024. This is a significant achievement and they deserve our congratulations.
