Hillary Outdoor Adventures

We were thrilled to have had the privilege of sending 20 Year 9 students on a week-long adventure at Hillary Outdoors Tongariro. This incredible outdoor program offered our students a range of exciting activities, including high ropes, flying fox, kayaking, bush walking, and a day at the snow.

The girls had an unforgettable time during their week. They not only experienced thrilling adventures but also formed new and lasting friendships. Our girls embraced every opportunity displayed enthusiasm and showed courage during each activity. Their positive attitudes and willingness to step out of their comfort zones was truly commendable. This opportunity allowed our students to push their limits, build self-confidence, and develop leadership skills.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Mikayla Choat and Tania Wilson for their exceptional role as camp mothers throughout the week. These devoted individuals not only provided care and support to our students but also actively participated in various adventurous activities alongside them. As the students were required to surrender their phones at the start of the week, (great decision) Mikayla and Tania ensured parents were informed about the well-being and activities of their children.

We are also extremely grateful to the instructors at Hillary Outdoors for their guidance and expertise. They ensured the safety of our girls throughout the program, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the activities and challenges. Their professionalism and knowledge made a significant contribution to the success of this adventure.

Kind Regards
