Another Cricket Triumph for Roma Bowers-Fleming

A huge congratulations to Roma Bowers-Fleming, who has been selected for the Pasifika Secondary Schools Cricket Team, as well as the Cornwall Park U16 team. Although Roma plays for the Waitakere Cricket Ladies Prem team, unfortunately WCC couldn’t pull together an U16 or U19 team, so she looked further afield and trialled for Cornwall Park and was selected! It was during this trial that she was noticed and recommended for the Pasifika rep team also.  

This selection is yet another fantastic achievement for Roma's 2023 Cricket seasons, having received a haul of awards at Waitakere Cricket's prizegiving earlier this year, taking home a medal for top batter in the team, award for 30+ runs not out, club award for top female batter, and a trophy for youth girls player of the year.  Congratulations Roma!
