Lennart triumphs at the World Ice Hockey Championships

Once again, Lennart Wimmer and his team triumphed at the World Ice Hockey Championships 18U Men Division in Istanbul, Turkey. After clinching gold last year in Division 3B, they moved up to Division 3A, facing tougher opponents. Despite the challenge, they maintained their division status, marking a significant achievement for New Zealand's U18 Men's team since 2014.

Lennart, emerging as New Zealand's top scorer with 5 goals and 5 assists in 5 games, was named "Best Player of the Tournament for New Zealand" by the IIHF.

This tournament also concludes Lennart's journey with the U18 National Team as he sets his sights on joining the U20 National Team for the January 2025 competition.

Lennart has achieved an impressive accomplishment in his Ice hockey career. We wish him continued success in the future.
