Primary and Intermediate KI-O-RAHI Tournament
The annual primary/intermediate schools Ki-O-Rahi tournament was a success, with over 200 local Tamariki competing for the trophies.
One of the key factors contributing to the success of this tournament was the invaluable contribution of our Kāhui Mana Māori students, who took on the role of facilitating the refereeing and scoring. Matua Jeff, Matua Parartene, and Whaea Stacey also worked tirelessly at the results table, ensuring that the tournament ran smoothly and efficiently.
A highlight of the event is the strong connection between our school and our local primary and intermediate schools. It’s reassuring to see the camaraderie that exists within our community, and this tournament serves as a platform for strengthening these bonds.
A big thank you to the staff from the participating schools for organizing and coordinating their teams to participate in the tournament. Without their support this event would not have been possible in making the day an enjoyable experience for all involved.
