Waiheke Sports Exchange

The annual sports exchange between our school and Waiheke College took place on Thursday 28th March.  A total of 83 students and coaches from Rutherford boarded the ferry to head to Waiheke College to represent our college. 

The day started off with great energy as our 1st XI boys' Football team and Netball girls kick-started the day's events, setting the tone for what would be a series of some great matches. 

The action continued with our mixed volleyball and girls’ football matches, followed by basketball, touch, and KI-O-RAHI games. Both schools put in their best efforts to secure victories in each game.

Our teams rose to the occasion, securing victories in an impressive six out of the seven games played. Of course, we'll gracefully skip over the one game that didn't go our way — right, Mr. Moore?

Our school proudly claimed the trophy once again, reaffirming our dominance in the annual sports exchange against Waiheke College

We look forward to future exchanges with Waiheke College and the opportunity to continue fostering a positive and competitive sports culture. Congratulations to all the students and coaches for their outstanding effort throughout the day. Here's to many more exciting competitions in the future.
