Battle of the Bridge

The "Battle of the Bridge" sporting event on April 10th saw Rangeview Intermediate and Te Atatu Intermediate students face off in an intense competition featuring basketball, netball, hockey, football, and rugby.

Rutherford College students stepped up taking on coaching roles for a 4-week period leading up to the competition. This not only provided the college students with valuable leadership and coaching experience but also enabled them to develop meaningful relationships with the intermediate school students. It was great to see our college students so invested in supporting their teams during the Battle of the Bridge competition.

The competition itself was extremely close, with tense moments in some of the games. 

In the end, Te Atatu Intermediate emerged as the winners, taking home the trophy after a hard-fought battle, with a final score of 4 to 3.

Thanks go out to the referees, umpires, and supportive parents whose dedication ensured the event's success. 

We look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of this event in the years to come.
