On Friday, August 9, a team of 57 students headed to the Kumeu Showgrounds to participate in the Auckland Secondary Schools Tough Guy/Gal Challenge. The day started with nice weather, but as the event progressed, some rain transformed the course into a muddy adventure. Our students tackled the challenge with great enthusiasm, and Dylan Chapman stood out by finishing in an impressive 3rd place in the Senior Boys division.

The staff were eager to join in the fun, with Mr Gilmore clinching first place in the overall staff competition. It was amazing to see so many students stepping out of their comfort zones and embracing new challenges.

Let’s hope that 2025 brings even more students ready to take on this exciting challenge.
