From 6th to 8th December, Amy Thomson had an incredible time competing in Timaru at the Secondary School Nationals, where her hard work and determination shone through.

She earned second place in the 3000m under-16 race, giving a strong performance against a competitive field. Amy then went on to claim first place in the 2000m under-16 steeplechase, securing an impressive result.

Despite the 27-degree heat, the gorgeous weather made it a weekend to remember. Congratulations to Amy on her outstanding achievements!
